Difficult Cases

In our over one hundred collective years of providing veterinary care, we have diagnosed and successfully treated some extremely challenging cases.  No matter how difficult your pet’s situation, you can be sure that we will treat him or her to the best of our ability and with the utmost compassion.

We regularly pull animals from Fort Worth Animal Care and Control for the purposes of rehabilitation and eventual adoption.  Many animal rescue groups would love to help these animals, but do not have the facilities to manage a complex rehabilitation case.  We formed an animal rescue group to facilitate the adoption of these rehabilitation cases called Animal Hope.

If you would like to follow along with some of these challenging cases, please follow us on facebook or subscribe to our youtube channel.  We also love hearing about animal rescue stories, so if you would like to share please let us know.

This is Blue.  He was a stray who had been on his own for a long time.  He had serious infections of both sarcoptic and demadectic mange.  He was also very emaciated.  His recovery will be a long one, but he is a great dog and will eventually make a family very happy.

This is Merida.  Merida was a cruelty case that came from Fort Worth Animal Care and Control.  Her leg was necrotic from the knee down, and she was ill and very close to death.  Even when she was so ill that she couldn’t walk, she was still wagging her tail.  We are currently working to get Merida certified to do therapy work at children’s hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and the like.

This is G.I. Jane.  She was hit by a car and had a broken pelvis.  She has since been adopted.
